Am I a bystander?

A bystander is usually caught up in the middle of bullying.

You might be someone who watches when others are being bullied or even worse join in by laughing, taunting and adding to the bully's insults. This adds to the problems that the victim has. Even though you may not be physically getting involved you can still be considered a bully, because you are not helping to resolve the situation. You may be a bystander because you are worried or scared of the bullies and don't want to be their next target. However this does not mean you can keep quiet and ignore the situation.
