What is bullying?

Bullying is when one person is continually treated
badly by another person or a group of people.

Bullying can take many different forms, it doesn't just mean being physcially pushed around or kicked and punched. We have provided a list of the different types of bullying that you may be experiencing, all of
which are equally distressing.

Verbal Bullying: Where a group of people or one person may continually shout out and taunt you by saying things that are offensive to you, e.g. name calling, making nasty remarks. Typical taunts may include making fun of
your weight, colour, clothes etc.

Physical Bullying: Where you may be attacked by kicking, punching, and being pushed around. This may also involve people taking your personal belongings.

Excluding/Indirect Bullying: People may purposely leave you out of their activities/conversations. This could also involve others
spreading rumours about you.

Cyber Bullying: Where a person or group of people may send you nasty
text messages or emails.
